Our Programs
Global Community Development
Seeking locally led partnerships in water, shelter, health, and livelihoods — designed and owned by the communities they serve.
Overview
Why global community development matters
Our international work will follow one rule: local leadership first. Every project will be co-designed with a community-based organization that holds decision rights over budget and scope.
We intend to fund infrastructure that a community can maintain, train the technicians who will maintain it, and publish results openly so partners and donors can hold us accountable.
Program goals
- Expand access to safe water and sanitation through local partners
- Support community-based organizations with flexible, multi-year funding
- Ensure every project carries a funded local maintenance plan
- Move the majority of program budgets into locally registered organizations
